10일(현지시간) 스웨덴과 노르웨이에서 노벨상 시상식이 열렸습니다. 노벨상 시상식은 다이너마이트를 만든 스웨덴 과학자 알프레드 노벨의 서거일(세상을 떠난 날)을 기념해 매해 12월 10일 열립니다. 노벨이 내놓은 유산으로 만들어진 상이 바로 노벨상이지요. 노벨의 유언에 따라 노르웨이 노벨위원회가 선정하는 노벨 평화상은 노르웨이의 수도 오슬로에서, 평화상을 제외한 나머지 노벨상(화학, 물리, 생리·의학, 경제, 문학)시상식은 스웨덴의 수도 스톡홀름에서 열린답니다.

 

성대한 노벨상 시상식과 시상식 후 펼쳐지는 멋진 연회(축하를 위해 펼쳐지는 잔치)는 노벨상이 왜 세계 최고의 상인지를 보여줍니다. 언젠가 노벨상 시상식에서 상을 받는 자신의 모습을 상상해보아요. 참 멋지겠지요? ^^
